SEMINARS

A typical seminar will start on a Thursday evening and conclude Saturday afternoon.  Subjects covered include:  Orientation to CENTRL, Effective Leadership, Effective Communication, Public Policy Formation, Rural/Urban Issues, Managing Group Dynamics, Community & Economic Development, Natural Resource Issues, Education & Social Issues, Global Dynamics, arizona Legislative Process, and Polishing Your Leadership Skills.

Seminar sessions are distributed over a one-year program with no more than one seminar held each month.  The year starts in June and concludes June of the following year.  The schedules are confirmed in advance to allow ample time for participants to plan to attend all sessions.

There will be seven interactive seminars  in Arizona plus a study tour in Washington D.C. and a study tour to Mexico.  The national seminar provides participants an opportunity to network with rural and agricultural leaders from another state, to gain global perspective on rural leadership, and to meet with national leaders.  The sessions and topics will vary for each CENTRL class.
