Welcome CENTRL Candidate!

We appreciate your interest in a once-in-a-lifetime leadership journey with Project CENTRL!  Over 750 leaders have completed the leadership program since the first class started in 1983.  Project CENTRL is seeking candidates who will continue a proud tradition of civic engagement now and for years to come. 

The links to the Online Application Packet may be found above. Please review all of the information in the before submitting your online application.  It is your responsibility to ensure all parts of the Online Application Packet are submitted to the CENTRL office before March 15 11:59 p.m.  Staff are available to answer questions and confirm receipt of materials Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm. 

The Online Application Packet includes:

• The Online Application (completed by you)

• Two Recommendations (from non-family members; to be submitted online by each reference)
• The two recommendations you list on your application are the ones the selection committee will review.  If you submit more than two recommendations, they will not be considered in the selection process.
• An Employer Approval Form (to be completed online by your employer. If you are the owner, please complete yourself)  100% participation is required and must be committed to by your employer. 

Only applicants with completed Online Application packets may be considered for an interview.  Selection is competitive, and made by Arizona Center for Rural Leadership Board of Directors serving on the Selection Committee.  

100% attendance required. Any partial absence requires a meeting with the board executive committee to determine your future in the program.

Candidates are encouraged to visit with Project CENTRL Alumni to learn about their experiences in the leadership program.
