Bio
As a graduate of Northern Arizona University with a degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Human Resources, Wendy Ross has been working in the Human Resources field for over 20 years in both the private and public sectors. In 2004 she received her Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) Certification and in 2015 achieved the SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) Certification.
For the past 15 years, she has worked for Yavapai County Government in Prescott, where she currently serves as the Director of Human Resources and Risk Management. Serving over 1700 employees ranging from law enforcement professionals to health care providers to roads crews, her passion is working with leaders within the organization and the community to make our workplaces the very best that they can be., which teaches Rural Leadership in Arizona.


Wendy has been a member of the Prescott Area Human Resources Association (PAHRA), the local SHRM affiliate, for over 18 years and has held various leadership roles including President. She has also served as the President of the Prescott High School Softball Booster Club. Outside of work, Wendy enjoys spending time with her husband Jeff their two children, Carly and Corbin. She is honored to be selected to participate in in Project CENTRL, Class XXVI.
