Bio
Chris McCormack is an attorney experienced in Agriculture, Administrative, and Criminal law. As a ranch kid, Chris was heavily involved in 4H and FFA. He competed in various agricultural competitions, showed cattle, attended the FFA Washington Leadership Conference, and ultimately obtained his American FFA Degree. Chris is married to his wife Valerie, and the couple raise their son Cody and daughter Charlotte in a Cottonwood, California. Raising a family in a rural setting is a priority to Chris. Having been raised in a very remote area, he understands the benefits of growing up in a small community setting and hopes to instill rural values in his children.

Additionally, Chis earned his Bachelor’s Degree from Oregon State University in General Agriculture, and his Juris Doctor from Arizona State University. Upon completing his education, he gained legal experience as a prosecutor at the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office, before he became Legal Counsel for the Arizona Department of Agriculture. After representing the Department in a variety of legal issue, including a livestock branding case before the Arizona Supreme Court, Chris was asked to work for the Department as the Associate Director of the Animal Services Division. In 2020, Chris and his Family moved to Cottonwood, CA so they could be closer to their families.
