Bio

A native Arizonan, Sonia ranches cattle in Pearce with her husband David, son Daniel, and daughter-in-law Rebekah. Sonia and David are parents of 3 adult children, Emily, James, and Daniel. They own Sierra Lumber hardware store in Willcox, AZ. Sonia has a BS from the U of A in Renewable Natural Resources and has worked as a range conservationist for the Natural Resource Conservation Service and the Bureau of Land Management as well as applying conservation principles to her own ranch. She serves on the board of directors for Cochise Graham Cattle Growers, Cochise County Farm and Livestock Bureau, and the Arizona Farm Bureau. Sonia is the Ag Issues chair and policy advisor for the Arizona Cattle Growers Association. A 4H leader for over 20 years, she loves working with youth. She is also deeply involved in her church.
