Bio
Joey Dahms is a rangeland management specialist for USDA’s Natural Resource Conservation Service in Flagstaff, Arizona. In this capacity he works with agricultural producers in northern Arizona in conserving both the natural resources and landscapes that they manage. Joey was born and raised in Tucson and graduated from of the University of Arizona’s College of Agriculture in 2016. During his time there he developed a passion for land and resource conservation in a growing world. Through both his Job and personal adventures he has spent time in many different parts of the state and holds a unique perspective of Arizona’s great diversity and the challenges faced in both urban and rural economies along with the divides between them. Outside of work he has previously served in the role of director north for the Arizona section of the Society for Range Management and is currently serving as chair of the section’s membership committee.
