Bio
Jan Pertruzzi is a Master Soil Conservationist for the USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service. She has been in this position for 15 years and prior to that, a Soil Conservationist. Her duties include identifying natural resource concerns on range and cropland and developing a conservation plan to address these concerns. In addition, Jan performs managerial duties for her office. Prior to moving to Arizona, Jan served as a town council member for a small rural community in Delaware. In this capacity, she was able to learn the various issues that challenge rural communities. To hone her public speaking skills, Jan is a member of the Rim Talkers, Toastmasters International chapter. Jan lives in Pinetop-Lakeside with her two Welsh corgi dogs.
