Bio
Kyle Kuechel is a Yuma native and fifth-generation production agriculturalist. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Agriculture Technology Management from the University of Arizona in 2009. As a dually licensed agriculture Pest Control Advisor (PCA) and AgriEdge Specialist for Syngenta – a global leader in crop protection products – Kyle provides critical support to growers throughout Arizona and Southern California. Kyle’s commitment to ensuring the health and sustainability of agriculture began early in life working on his family’s citrus farm. From 2005 to 2006 he served as a State Officer with Arizona Future Farmers of America (FFA). He currently volunteers on several boards, including the Desert Valley’s CAPCA (California Association of PCAs) chapter, Southwest Wildlife Foundation, and Yuma Valley Rod and Gun Club. Kyle is honored to be part of Class 31, a unique leadership challenge that will position him to play a crucial role in the life of rural Arizona, from proper representation to effective policy change. He is eager to share the invaluable skills and experiences he will gain, and to make a positive impact on Yuma and beyond.
