Bio
Craig McGinnis is a sixth-generation Arizonan, born and raised in Tempe with ties to rural Arizona back to the mid-19th century. In addition to being a die-hard Arizona sports fan, he enjoys golf, fishing, and road trips throughout the state.

In his professional duties, Craig is a Water Rights and Contracts Analyst at Salt River Project, where he specializes in water law, policy, and infrastructure, with an emphasis on the Colorado River and tribal water settlements. Prior to joining SRP in March of 2023, he worked for the Arizona Department of Water Resources on Colorado River management and interned in Washington, D.C. with the House Committee on Natural Resources, Subcommittee on Water, Power, and Oceans. He is a graduate of the Water Management Certificate Program through Arizona State University and holds a Master of Legal Studies degree from ASU's Sandra Day O'Connor College of Law with a focus on Law and Sustainability.
