Craig McGinnis is a sixth generation Arizonan, born and raised in Tempe with family ties to rural Arizona since the mid-19th century. In addition to being a die-hard Arizona sports fan from an early age, he enjoys golf, fishing, and road trips throughout the state.

In his professional duties, Craig works for the Arizona Department of Water Resources on matters relating to the Colorado River. Prior to his joining the Department in January of 2019, Craig interned in Washington, D.C. with the House Committee on Natural Resources, specializing in the Subcommittee on Water, Power, and Oceans. He is a graduate of the Sandra Day O'Connor College of Law at Arizona State University and holds a Master of Legal Studies degree with a focus in Law and Sustainability. He is looking forward to the program schedule and refining his passion for public service alongside his Project CENTRL classmates.
