Maribel Villafana became Communications Director of the 911 Emergency Dispatch Center at La Paz County Sheriff's Office in 2019. Previously, Maribel worked as a 911 Emergency Dispatcher, shift supervisor, and trainer for 20 years. As Communications Director, she manages, administers, and coordinates the activities of the La Paz County Central Dispatch, serving the Police and Fire Departments of La Paz County. She successfully leads a team of eleven 911 Emergency Dispatchers focused on providing the best service possible to the citizens and Public Safety Responders served by La Paz County Central Dispatch.
