Bio

Michael Pierce is an Extension professional, agricultural educator, and winemaker with 17 years of experience in the Arizona wine industry. Through his work with the University of Arizona Cooperative Extension, he supports growers, producers, and local food systems across Yavapai County. He also serves as winemaker for his family’s vineyard and winery, Bodega Pierce, where he continues to stay closely connected to the practical realities of farming, winemaking, and rural entrepreneurship. Outside of his professional work, he enjoys sharing time with his wife, Marney.
