Peter Friederici teaches and conducts community-engaged research and outreach related to food systems in the Sustainable Communities Program at Northern Arizona University. As director of the Rural Foods Pathways Project, he guides graduate students who work to improve healthy food access and the sustainability of agriculture in rural communities throughout northern Arizona.
