The Arizona Center For Rural Leadership would like to announce that Kristine Downard has been chosen as one of sixteen participants for its 2023/2024 class. Kristine is a mother of three, an educator and a small business owner in Flagstaff, Arizona. She has worked for decades with Arizona public schools and special education students. She is passionate about inspiring and empowering Arizona youth through education and community connections. Kristine has been a 4-h leader, is a member of the Flagstaff Rotary and trains, raises and shows world class American Quarter Horses at her small Flagstaff Ranch. The ranch, known as The Broken D Bar, is open to a select number of upscale weddings, retreats and locally sourced dinners each year.
