Bio
A resident of Vail, AZ, Sheena’s journey into public service began as a volunteer firefighter in a rural community in Oregon and has continued throughout her life in different capacity’s and has ultimately led her to her most recent public service where she was just appointed as the Pima County Fair Commissioner where she will start the beginning of her 4-year term in 2025. Marked by her genuine interest in bridging the digital divide, particularly in Southern and rural Arizona, Sheena has been working to build diverse perspectives, while fostering an environment of collaboration across the state to help bring much needed infrastructure to some of our rural communities.

Sheena is also a mom of two young girls that are active in the rodeo community. Sheena’s acceptance into the program for Arizona Center for Rural Leadership will continue to help her foster her passion for making a difference and serving in the communities where she lives.
