Bio

Jessica Archibald has spent her career on the idea that people and the land do better when they work together. She supports that through three lines of work. She facilitates community and natural resource planning processes across the Southwest, helping diverse groups navigate hard conversations and reach durable agreements as a professional facilitator with Southwest Decision Resources. She leads Diablo Trust as Executive Director, a Flagstaff-based nonprofit that partners with ranches in northern Arizona to steward nearly half a million acres of working lands. And as a conservation social scientist, she conducts research on how to design conservation efforts that are grounded in evidence and actually work for both the environment and the communities that depend on it.
