Bio
Nicole Richardson Clements brings a diverse agricultural background to rural Arizona in the name of advocacy. With roots that began on her family farm in Missouri and grew to include bachelor’s and master’s degrees in animal science from Northwest Missouri State University, she has been dedicated to rural communities from an early age. Through her career journey she quickly realized there was a common need among all types of agriculture: a voice. She is proud to dedicate her professional and personal passions to advocating for those in agriculture who provide so much to our communities.

In her work as Executive Director of Maricopa County Farm Bureau she ensures farmers and ranchers have a seat at the table when it comes to regulatory conversations and is proud to share the stories of agriculture with the community, most notably through the organization’s podcast: Arizona Agriculture Connection. Whether it is boots on the ground at the Capitol, in the office, or on the farm she executes each project with passion and precision.

Aside from advocacy, Nicole is dedicated to serving as a resource for the next generation of agriculturalists. From mentorships to speaking engagements, she spends her time opening doors to agriculture careers for young people. By fostering the next leaders in agriculture, she works to strengthen agriculture’s future.

Bolstering her impact, Nicole is a member of the Arizona Farm Bureau Young Farmers & Ranchers, Arizona Farm Bureau Women’s Leadership Committee, Ag100, The Worldly Women Collective, and the GCU Science Advisory Board. She believes in “leading by doing” and is proud to continue leading and learning through her involvement.
